Volunteering

Bishop Auckland Table Tennis Club is no different from the vast majority of sports clubs across the Country - it is run almost entirely by volunteers.

To support the development of the club, its volunteers and the community, we offer a volunteer training programme, providing the opportunity to gain formal qualifications to aid the individual as well as the club, with courses subsidised or fully paid for by the club.

We’re proud of our volunteering programme, which has so far funded 23 local volunteers to become UKCC coaches, 15 young members have become Youth Sport Trust Young Officials and multiple Table Tennis England County Umpires to name a few examples.

All our volunteers are DBS checked and undergo safeguarding as a minimum

To allow the club to continue to grow and get better, we need more volunteers

Even an hour a week can make a huge difference and help us continue to grow, improve and share the workload.
If you’re Interested in joining our fantastic team of award-winning volunteers and helping the club in the community please get in touch,
