Bright start to the season at Blackpool.
Adam Hanby and Jake Haygarth got there seasons underway at the Blackpool two star on the 23rd of September. Starting in the Cadet Jake Haygarth started with a 3-0 over county team mate Ethan Brown before going down to second seed Ben Piggot from Cleveland. This saw Jake through to a last 16 match with Joe Cooper, who is 2 places above Jake in the under 13’s and 4 places in the cadets. In a fantastic match which saw Jake really raise his game to come out 3-1 winner to reach the Quarter finals meeting top seed and England number 4 Rhys Davies who was to strong for Jake winning in three.
The Juniors saw Adam start his campaign, unluckily going down in the 5th to Matty Rigg before Rhys Davis again won 3-0 and Adams final match saw another loss to Kaian Josan to see Adam enter the plate event. Adams first round saw a 3-2 win over Alex Darlington and Adam start to find his game. The quarters saw Adam lose 12-10 in the 5th to Rased Al-Dahiri who Jake had played in the group.
Jake playing up in the junior event started with a huge 3-2 win over Jamie Peacock 173 places above Jake at 69 in the juniors, Next up saw Jake come away 3-0 winner over Rased Al-Dahiri who is 104 places above Jake and the final match saw Jakes remarkable form continue with a 3-2 win over Alex Lee who is 170 places above. Jakes last 16 match saw him run out of steam and go down 3-0 down to Ogi Kostov who was in great form.
